Hi world

Finally got my blog sorted out.

Now I can start spouting off about life, the universe and everything as originally intended.

I am not sure where this will go, its part diary, part soapbox, part memory pad, I guess.

So, a little about me

I am diabetic, 41 years old and work as a cook in the canteen of one of our local companies up here in Canada (hey, they pay me crap, they ain’t getting a free name check!)

I plan on using my blog to talk about:

• my diabetes
• my recipes 
• my family
• my life
• things that ‘tick me off’
• politics
• religion
• .. stuff

I’d say ‘watch this space’ but I always avoid cliches like the plague
